In the past couple of months, we have traveled approximately 7k miles.
No, that’s not a requirement for this illness.
Some of that was exploring, some avoiding fires. We checked a few places from last year and then there was a trip for some needed paperwork.
We've been busy.
At times I found myself praying that the Lord would support my weary body. As always, He sustained me.
We visited some EXTREMELY toxic locations that affected my walking or ability to lift my legs. Overall, however, it was a non issue. Even through some really bad air.
And man, did we drive through some lousy air.
We saw some gorgeous places that felt terrible. I asked my husband if we could pull over to take these pictures. We agreed that the area was quite unpleasant but it was beautiful and I knew it was unlikely that I would ever see it again.
At times we drive through dense smoke and my chest felt a little uncomfortable. Other than that, I found myself looking at my husband, stunned.
“How am I ok?!”
The answer?
God is healing me.
We came back to our decent location.
West winds here can affect me. There is very strong MT on the west side of town.
I can feel it. I can recognize that it feels like what normally affects my gait or my ability to walk at all.
But it isnt.
It is not impacting my ability to walk and I am still detoxing like crazy. I find myself doing high intensity workouts even on these bad air days.
Yes. This is the progress we’ve been waiting for.
11 months.
The change is phenomenal.
My coach is working on a new class to teach the basics and how to discern good locations. If you would like to be one of the first to have access to it, you can join his community here.
Glad to hear it. As a random aside, I've heard quite a few stories of super fit and healthy cyclists riding the GDMBR and having weird symptoms and breathing issues between Butte and Lincoln in Montana. Would be interested to discover if it's a canary/mould/MCS phenomenon or if something else going on.
